My names Renee. And I'm a professional boudoir photographer, educator and mentor based in Adelaide, South Australia. I've been working in the boudoir industry for almost 6 years and am well known for running South Australia's leading luxury boudoir photography studio, Intimate Portraiture by Renee. I have been a full time, self employed entrepreneur for almost 14 years now, with 10 of those years being in the photography industry. Prior to this, I was working as an educator in the creative industry. I absolutely fell in love with photography, so I decided to follow my heart, which has led me to where I am today.


I have now seen hundreds of clients through the doors of my studio, and have a wealth of knowledge and skill in providing luxury photographic services and products to clients, as well as running a successful business throughout some of the toughest economic times people have ever seen.


I'm so excited to be able to share my knowledge and skill with other photographers who are serious about wanting to take their business, photography, editing, studio, and client experience to the next level.



 

 

 

 

 

The things I teach include a huge range of different topics, covering everything from the practical side of things, to the business side of things, and all of the fiddly bits and pieces in between that most people forget about.



Nothing falls through the cracks when you're being taught by me, you'll be equipped with all of the knowledge you need to kick things into gear and start booking your dream clients.


Right now I offer 1:1 in person mentoring, and will soon be offering a highly anticipated 1:1 online course for those who prefer to do things in their own time, and learn at their own pace. Perfect for photographers who are located interstate, or overseas who cannot travel, or even for the busy person who is a bit time poor and unable to commit to in person learning at scheduled dates/times. Whatever your preferred method of learning, I have something for everyone.

-How to incorporate spicier elements into your boudoir sessions (kink, BDSM, etc)

-How to keep yourself, and your studio safe as a boudoir photographer

-My personal shooting and lighting techniques

=My personal editing and retouching techniques

-How to create an incredible client experience from start to finish

-How to create, and run an online community

-How to curate, design, and sell luxury physical products

-How to protect your business in this industry (contracts, legal forms, etc)

-How to take care of yourself after your sessions with your clients (because this industry is a very unique one where clients get vulnerable, and it can be triggering at times if you don't take care of yourself, and your own mental health).


-All clients who undertake mentoring with me also receive a full website, and social media analysis along with a full critique of these from me, (so you can improve in any areas that may be lacking). As well as two, 30 minute follow up zoom video calls which take place after mentoring has been completed. (One at 3 months from the completion of your mentoring with me, and one at 6 months from the completion of your mentoring with me).


An in-person mentoring session is also available as an add-on purchase. This will include a 2 hour studio hire, a model, hair and makeup, and my expertise, giving you live tips, tricks and critique as you are running through your own mock boudoir session.
